LaFontaine takes hard work and personal challenges to the next level, both in business and for sport. A seasoned off-road motorcycle rider; Dane’s passion for desert racing has been rewarded with opportunities to compete as an Ironman entry in SCORE International’s Baja Desert Series and the North America based Best in the Desert Racing Series. Sidelined for 2013 and 2014 with injuries threatening his departure from the sport, Dane’s spirited rehabilitation recently earned him a return to racing with a successful finish at the 2015 Best in the Desert Henderson 250. Dane is currently focused on an Ironman comeback to Baja, with designs to race the entire Baja peninsula solo in the near future. LaFontaine works and trains for his next adventure throughout San Diego County, and resides in the trendy community of South Park with his wife Ashley, daughter Jessica, and their four family Chihuahuas.
